South Cobb Community Engagement Survey Campaign
Developed questions with stakeholders, county employees, branding advisory board, residents and in-house team. Created and conducted an online survey to gauge resident perception of South Cobb for re-branding the area. Organized several community engagement events to complete questionnaire, to meet community members face to face, and to share a vision and progress for development. Also, partnered with local non-profits to share community resources with public, as well as to promote these entities. Published notices of effort through several business organizations, County and media. Collected over 500 respondents to achieve 97 percent accuracy of population of 89,000. Provided a summary, detailed data sets and recommendations for South Cobb Redevelopment Authority, Cobb Community Development and the Cobb Board of Commissioners. Representative of the full the demographic of citizens, based on US Census data, the findings of the study and report was used by lead agency to craft new and exciting messaging and creative for the district.
