Managed political campaign in crowded race of seven candidates with a considerable outcome
and support despite the national corona virus pandemic. Strategy consisted of consensus building through various organizations and groups, social media, yard and road signage, literature, strong debates, phone banking, authentic connections amidst COVID-19 and
canvassing prior to the virus.
Results from Pressley for race showed most of her 3,625 votes were from absentee ballots, based on primary messaging that urged residents to vote at home and safely through area drop boxes setup by the Cobb Elections Board. Moreover, straw polls indicated her supporters knew her well and strongly believed in her platform (Let’s Build South Cobb Together) to bring to South Cobb significant investment in employment, workforce development, small business support, outdoor and nature-based tourism and engagement for better mobility in district four. Captured and won the predominate vote in Birney 01 and 02 precincts. Used and manipulated data in Vote Builder research software to determine profile of voters.
